For certain specialties it is possible to request repeat prescriptions digitally via the Patient Portal Mijn.RKZ.nl. Below you can read how this works.
If you want to request repeat prescriptions digitally via the Patient Portal, you will receive an email about this.
Access to requesting repeat prescriptions is granted per specialty and is done automatically.
You may, for example, be able to request a digital repeat prescription if a medicine has been prescribed by the neurologist,
but not for a medicine prescribed by the surgeon.
The message looks like this:
On the portal (mijn.rkz.nl) you go via the menu to 'Medicines'.
The link in the email will take you directly there. Here you will see your current medication as known in the hospital.
If you can request a repeat prescription for a medicine, there is a button after the line.
To request a repeat prescription for a medicine, click on the button.
A screen will appear for requesting a repeat prescription. Check carefully whether the strength and dosage are correct.
Fill above the button 'To request' the pharmacy where you want to collect the medication.
If the strength or dosage is no longer correct, you can enter this in the box where you also enter the pharmacy.
Once everything has been filled in and checked correctly, click the button 'To request'.
You return to the overview of the medication. The request will be visible at the relevant outpatient clinic or healthcare provider.
The application is usually processed the same day (during office hours).
Once the prescription has been sent by the outpatient clinic or healthcare provider to the desired pharmacy, you will receive a message by e-mail.
