Steps in brief
- Download the DigiD app and the CheckID app
- Log in with your DigiD and then open the CheckID app and press 'Start'
- Follow the steps in the DigiD app for linking
- Use the other phone's NFC reader to scan the ID card
- The DigiD app is now activated
1. Download CheckID
Download the DigiD app on the device where you want to use the app.
Download the CheckID app on the device that is equipped with an NFC reader.
Open the DigiD app and log in with your DigiD.
Once you have logged in, open the CheckID app and press 'Start'.
Make sure you have your ID, driver's license or passport at hand and press 'Get on'.
2. Activate the DigiD app
Enter the link code that the DigiD app shows.
Now follow the steps in the DigiD app.
After following the steps, you can click on the CheckID app 'Get on' to press.
Now you can read ID with the NFC reader on the phone.
Then the check is done!
You can now use the DigiD app on the device without NFC.
