If you want to use the DigiD app on a telephone or tablet, it must be equipped with an NFC reader. But not every device has an NFC reader. To still use the DigiD app on that device, you can use the CheckID app.
With the CheckID app it is possible to activate the DigiD app on devices that are not equipped with an NFC reader.
The CheckID app is downloaded onto a phone that has an NFC reader and can then activate the DigiD app on the phone without NFC.
