What are recovery codes?
If you can no longer use the authenticator app you have set up, for example because you have lost your phone,
then you can regain access to your account by using the recovery codes.
Therefore, it is important to keep the recovery codes in a safe place.
You'll get this option when you set up 2-factor authentication, but you can always download these recovery codes at a later time as long as you have access to your account.
