Looking back at our 'Knowledge Gathering' meeting

On Thursday, October 2, our annual 'Kennispluk' gathering took place at the beautiful Landgoed de Olmenhorst in Lisserbroek. Here, our participants came together for an afternoon filled with substantive inspiration, meaningful conversations, and picking delicious apples from our own apple trees!

During the content session, Marleen Kennes took us through the vision of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport on digital care and how this relates to the IZA and AZWA plans. Afterwards, Janne Vermeulen from Pharos gave us an inspiring explanation of the Digital Inclusion Escape Kit they developed. And of course, there was also time to try it out! It turned out not to be that simple. 'Frustrating' and 'How terrible that this is actually close to the truth' were reactions from the participants.

In addition to the sessions, we went into the apple orchard to pick our own apples. We had planted several trees on the estate in the name of our participants and Helpdesk Digitale Zorg. These symbolize our collective commitment to a healthy and accessible future in healthcare. Everyone returned with bags full, which fortunately more than compensated for the frustration of the escape case.

Thank you to everyone who was there and made the day so valuable. Together, we continue building accessible digital healthcare!
