Successful collaboration around PGO information point continues

We are pleased that the successful collaboration between the Dutch Patients Federation, MedMij and the Digital Healthcare Helpdesk Foundation will continue. Since 2023, the Digital Healthcare Helpdesk Foundation has been providing the PGO information point on behalf of the Dutch Patients Federation and the MedMij Foundation, with which we support citizens and patients in the use of Personal Health Environments (PHEs). 

The PGO information point supports both citizens and healthcare providers: it offers users low-threshold support for a wide range of questions about choosing, using, benefits and safety of PGOs. At the same time, healthcare providers can go there with questions about, for example, the technical connection to MedMij and help in supporting their patients in using PGOs.

In short, the PGO information point provides practical help to anyone who works with PGOs or wants to know more about them. The joint effort makes it possible to improve the implementation of PGOs, and to provide the knowledge and tools they need to confidently manage their health.
