From now on, clients of GGNet can contact us for support with digital care. GGNet is a mental health institution in North and East Gelderland and works on restoring connections for 18,000 people with (serious) psychiatric disorders and their loved ones. Approximately 2,100 employees (and 140 volunteers) work at the locations in Apeldoorn, Doetinchem, Zutphen, Zevenaar, Winterswijk and main location Warnsveld.
The aim of this collaboration is to offer clients personal support with the digital care that GGNet offers. From logging in to portals, starting video calls to independently using health apps. Initially, our service desk is also the central point of contact for GGNet clients for all questions about Minddistrict. We are looking at further scaling up in the future.
A step forward in mental health care
GGNet has a mission that seamlessly aligns with our mission, namely to make digital care more accessible for all its clients. In collaboration with Helpdesk Digital Care, they want to increase this accessibility and at the same time streamline the care processes. “We want our patients to have as much control over their recovery as possible. Digital care can help with that, provided it is accessible and well-supported. That is why we work together with Helpdesk Digital Care, to arrange it as well as possible for our patients,” says Carmen Nijhuis, director at GGNet.
Merlijne Sonneveld, founder and director of Helpdesk Digital Care, adds: “We want everyone to feel that digital care is there for their convenience and well-being. This allows everyone to use and benefit from the possibilities that digital care offers us.”
Help when needed
Not only do we offer GGNet clients direct support via telephone, email and chat, but practical self-help manuals are also available via the GGNet landing page. This allows clients to get answers quickly when they need them. An example of this is the use of Minddistrict, an online portal that supports clients in their treatment and self-help, and where clients have insight into their file data.
We are ready to guide GGNet clients in using this portal, from creating an account to navigating the different functionalities of the system. “We want to ensure that everyone, regardless of their experience with technology, feels fully supported in using digital care tools,” says Merlijne Sonneveld.
Stronger together: healthcare professionals also benefit
Healthcare professionals and secretariats can refer clients with questions about digital care to the Digital Care Helpdesk. This allows them to work more efficiently and spend more time providing the best possible care. For more information, GGNet clients can contact us by phone, email or chat from 3 March 2025. Do you have questions or need support? We are here for you.
